Ghaziabad Nagar Nigam
|Ghaziabad Nagar Nigam became a reality in 1994, after the passage of 74th constitutional Amendment Act 1992. Prior to becoming a municipal corporation, Ghaziabad was a municipal board. Currently, the area under Ghaziabad Nagar Nigam (GNN) has been divided into four administrative zones, which again are divided into 80 wards. The four zones include City Zone, Kavi Nagar Zone, Vijay Nagar Zone, and THA Zone. There are also two additional zones, namely Mohan Nagar Zone and Vasundhara Zone.
Ghaziabad Municipal Corporation is the main governing body at the local level to carry out administration of the city and provide basic amenities to its residents.
