|HUDA Karnal refers to the plot scheme that Haryana Urban Development Authority launches for the allotment of new residential plots. The current scheme is for the allotment of plots in Sector 32. The scheme opened this year only – on Jan 6, 2011. The last date for the submission of the completed application forms was Mar 7, 2011. Under the scheme, a total of 1382 plots are on sale through the usual procedure of a draw of lots. These plots are of varying sizes, and there are also differences in their rates per square meter. The price of the brochure containing application form was Rs. 100/- and it was available at the office of the Estate Officer in Karnal or that of the Chief Administrator in Panchkula. Some authorized branches of banks like Indian Bank, Union Bank of India, HDFC Bank, Bank of Baroda, Haryana Gramin Bank, Oriental Bank of Commerce, State Bank of India, and Axis Bank were also selling the form. Moreover, it could also be downloaded online or obtained through registered post by sending a DD or Rs. 150/- in favor of Chief Administrator HUDA, payable at Panchkula.
HUDA Karnal Scheme 2011
The booking under HUDA Karnal Scheme 2011 is now closed as the last date for the submission of application forms along with the earnest money was March 7 this year. Now those who have applied under the scheme are waiting for the draw result, which is expected before the month of September this year. Applicants are advised to check their application status when the scrutiny process gets over and the final list of eligible applicants is prepared. As is the general allotment procedure HUDA follows under a typical plot scheme, winners of the draw will be issued a letter, which demands 15 percent of the cost of the allotted plot within one month.
You have already paid 10 percent of the cost at the time of application in the form of earnest money. The balance 75 percent is required to be paid in installments over a period of six years. A 9 percent rate of interest is also chargeable under this option. If you do not want to pay interest, you can make payment in full within 60 days of receiving the allotment letter.
