Rajasthan Property

Rajasthan Property market is not all pervasive, but concentrated in Jaipur, the state capital and a few prominent cities. Despite being the largest state of the country, Rajasthan has most of its land falling under the Thar Desert and the Aravalli Range. Moreover, the dry and humid climate of the region and the lack of some basic amenities like water keep people away from buying properties for permanent settlement. A place of royal forts and colorful traditions, Rajasthan is a major tourist destination, which helps it develop as a hub of world-class hotels and leisure houses.

The cities like Jaipur, Udaipur, Jodhpur, Bhiwadi and Kota are known as having established realty market. Jaipur is particularly important in this regard as it is now a preferred destination for IT companies and BPO firms. Some of the well-known brands in the country are now having operational base in Jaipur. These include Infosys, Genpact, Wipro, Honda Siel Cars, Coca Cola, Deutsche Bank, Procter & Gamble, etc. Today one can even find the largest integrated IT park of North India in this city.

Udaipur is another city where we can witness some real estate activities of late. The property market also exists in Jodhpur with significant investment coming from NRIs. Kota is an educational hub which attracts students from all across the country. The city has a well-developed property rental market. Investment properties with significant rental values are also in good demand here. The development of new houses is in full swing in Bhiwadi as the city has emerged as prospective real estate destination. Close proximity to the National Capital Region is what making Bhiwadi’s property selling like hot cakes.

Property dealers exist in Rajasthan to help people buy, sell, or rent a residential or commercial property here. These dealers also guide you through the laws governing land title ownership, title transfer, property registration, and tax issues. Moreover, you can also find online assistance when it comes to searching a home or flat for sale or rent.

For property registration, you need to visit the office of the Sub Registrar. The entire state is divided into 13 circles and each of these circles is divided into one or more districts. The jurisdiction of a Sub Registrar falls within any of these districts. There is a separate Registration & Stamps Department, which offers valuable information through its official website. The property tax is collected by the finance department of the Rajasthan Government.
